Please adhere to the following rules while on Firefly Horse Co. property:
All horse/lesson/services/billing related issues will be addressed either at the barn, by email, or by phone Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm; with the exception of emergencies.
All riders, spectators, & guests upon the property regardless of their participation statusin equine or animal related activities must have filled out and signed a waiver.
***Any waivers signed before SEPTEMBER 2023 need to be signed again!***
NO DOGS ALLOWED; unless given PRIOR APPROVAL. If they must come for any reasons, they need to be on a leash or left in the car. There may be other dogs present on the property at any given time.
***Owner is subject to fine if prior approval has not been given!***
No smoking allowed in or near the barn, hay storage, or lounges at any time.
The speed limit on the property is 5 MPH for the safety of horses, riders, & children.
Persons under 18 years of age must wear an ASTM / SEI certification approved helmet with chin harness in place. Helmets MUST be worn, while mounted. Though not required, helmets are strongly encouraged for persons over 18 years of age.
Riding lesson students & horse/farm camp attendee’s may be dropped off early or picked up late *ONLY* with pre-arranged agreement with their instructor.
Firefly employees are NOT responsible for childcare. Late pick-up without prior approval will be charged a fee.
Use only designated areas for unloading if hauling in a horse for a lesson.
When Hauling-In: All paperwork and releases must be completed prior to unloading.
Any person will implement any instruction or suggestion given by Firefly Staff for safety. This is not up for negotiation. Any intent to disobey Firefly Staff instruction will be removed from the facility.
Any person will respect posted barn hours & closures.
Any person will not enter animal enclosures without prior approval from a staff member. Children must be supervised at all times.
